  2. Con la masa ya lista, hacer bolitas para las tortillas y pasarlas por el prensador (maricona, tortillera, no sé cómo la conozcas). Si no cuentas con prensador, haz las tortillas extendiendo la masa sobre papel cera o bolsas de plástico abiertas.
  3. Una vez hecha las tortillas, ponlas en el comal a fuego medio, voltea hasta que se despeguen solas, déjalas medio minuto más y sácalas. Reserva.
  4. Para la salsa: licúa el tomate, con el chile y ajo pelado. Agrega un chorrito de agua para que pueda licuarse bien. Calienta un chorrito de aceite en un sartén y agrega lo licuado. Sazona con sal y deja que hierva durante 5 minutos, mueve constantemente. La salsa cambiará de color rojo pálido a vivo. Pasado este tiempo, apagar.
  5. Para armar las gorditas, untaremos una tortilla con 1/4 de cucharadita de manteca, las ponemos sobre el comal caliente a fuego bajo y ya ahí agregamos la salsa, y el queso. Aquí es dónde puedes agregar los ingredientes extras de tu elección. Sobre el comal se dejarán 2 o tres minutos, hasta que se vea que la salsita encima de la picada empiece a hervir, entonces sacarla del comal. Sirve y disfruta 😊
  6. Las puedes usar como plato principal si agregas carne o un guiso encima de ella y acompañar de guacamole o ensalada. O puedes consumirlas como acompañamiento, por ejemplo de cecina o carne enchilada, cómo se te antoje 😁
